Redundancy

TranLogix's application platform is based on a fully redundant hardware set. In our primary data center location, there are multiple public access feeds, connected to a pair of Firewalls configured for High Availability. There are multiple, clustered servers (in active/active and active/passive modes), allowing us to achieve the highest possible up time with our processing engine. This infrastructure allows us to maintain hardware, apply the latest security updates, and system revisions, without ever stopping the processing engine. Future plans include deploying identical infrastructure to geographically disparate locations to provide load balancing and fault tolerance. This has two major benefits:

1. Decrease the apparent processing time by allowing terminals to connect to the closest datacenter, and


2. Provide a disaster recovery scenario in the unlikely event that an entire data center is completely disabled, either due to an act of nature, or some other unforeseeable disaster.
